What we do

We map 12,520 restaurants, cafés-with-kitchens, pubs serving food and takeaways across all 26 counties and 1,064 towns and neighbourhoods. Every listing gets its own page — a mini-website at restaurant-name.ie-rest.com — with a pinned Google Map, opening hours with a live open/closed indicator, typical dishes for its cuisine, estimated busy times, directions and the closest alternatives.

Why a separate page for every restaurant?

Many small Irish restaurants don't have an up-to-date website. A clean, fast page with the essentials — where it is, when it's open and how to get there — is what most diners need on a phone. Owners can ask us to update their page at any time.

Independent and free

Listings are free and we don't accept payment for rankings. The site is funded by advertising, which is always labelled. We never present paid placements as recommendations.
